Curriculum Vitae   For starters, the schools I’ll never attend, the status and degrees I’ll never earn, the mentors and classmates and lifelong friends I’ll never meet, lessons I’ll never learn. Then on to work history, all those jobs I’ll never have, all that steady progress up the ladder from gofer to nabob to legend in the industry, success and more success — not. Next come those awards I’ll never win, trophies and accolades that will elude me, the prestigious boards on which I’ll never cast a vote, parades in which no ticker tape will ever shower my broad, triumphant shoulders.
